There was this king who had 10 wild dogs…

There was this king who had 10 wild dogs… He used them to torture and eat all ministers who made mistakes.

So one of the minister’s once gave an opinion which was wrong, and which the king didn’t like at all… So he ordered that the minister be thrown to the dogs.

So the minister said, “I served you 10 years and you do this???… Please give me 10 days before you throw me in with those dogs!”… So the king agreed…

In those 10 days the minister went to the guard that was guarding the dogs and told him he wants to serve the dogs for the next 10 days… The guard was baffled… But he agreed… So the minister started feeding the dogs, cleaning them, washing them, providing all sorts of comforts for them.

So when the 10 days were up… The king ordered that the minister be thrown in to the dogs for his punishment. But when he was thrown in, Everyone was amazed at what they saw… They saw the dogs licking the feet of the minister!

So the king baffled at what he saw… Said:” what happened to the dogs?. !!!” The minister then said;” I served the dogs for 10 days and they didn’t forget my service…Yet I served you for 10 years and you forgot all at the first mistake!”… So the king realized his mistake and ordered the minister to go free.

This is a gift to all those who forget the good in others as soon as a problem arises. Don’t wipe out the history that is filled with good because of a small incident you didn’t like

Think… Reflect… Act… Change…

The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less...

An aging master grew tired of his apprentice’s complaints. One morning, he sent him to get some salt. When the apprentice returned, the master told him to mix a handful of salt in a glass of water and then drink it.

“How does it taste?” the master asked.

“Bitter,” said the apprentice.

The master chuckled and then asked the young man to take the same handful of salt and put it in the lake. The two walked in silence to the nearby lake and once the apprentice swirled his handful of salt in the water, the old man said, “Now drink from the lake.”

As the water dripped down the young man’s chin, the master asked, “How does it taste?”

“Fresh,” remarked the apprentice.

“Do you taste the salt?” asked the master.

“No,” said the young man. At this the master sat beside this serious young man, and explained softly,

“The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains exactly the same. However, the amount of bitterness we taste depends on the container we put the pain in. So when you are in pain, the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things. Stop being a glass. Become a lake.”

Let's bring Virtues to Light...

A King with a defect in one eye and in one leg asked all the painters to draw a beautiful portrait of his...!

But no one was ready to draw, as how to show him beautiful with a defect in one eye & a defect in a leg...!

One painter however agreed and draw a classic one...!

It was such a FANTASTIC painting that every one was surprised...!

He painted the King aiming for a deer in a hunt, targeting with one eye closed & a leg bent for it...!

Why can't we all paint others like this, "hiding their weakness"& "highlighting their strengths"...???

May we learn to hide other's weakness & bring their virtues to light...!!!

When somebody...

When somebody told me that he has failed in his exams, my question is, "Is it a law that you will pass every time?"

When someone told me that my boyfriend broke up with me, my question is, "Is it a rule that you will have successful relationships everywhere?"

When somebody asked me why am I in depression, my question is, "Is it compulsory to have confidence all the time?"

When someone cried to me about his huge business loss due to his wrong decision, my question is, "Is it possible that you take all right decisions?"

The fact is our expectation that life has to be perfect/permanent is the biggest reason of our unhappiness.

One has to understand the law of impermanence of nature.

After each sunny day, there has to be a dark night, after each birth there have to be certain deaths, for the full moon to come again it has to pass through no moon. In this imperfection of nature, there is perfection.

So stop taking your failures and bad part of your life soooo personally or intensely, even God does not like to give you pain but its the cycle through which you have to pass. Prepare yourself for one more fight after each fall because even failures cannot be permanent...!

Enjoy life.... ☺

Your breath comes to go.

Your thoughts come to go.

Your words come to go.

Your actions come to go.

Your feelings come to go.

Your illnesses come to go.

Your phases come to go.

Your seasons come to go.

You have come to go.

Then why do you hold on to your guilt, anger, unforgiveness, hatred

so so so tightly,

when it too has come to go...

Let it go ...l
